SHOULD YOU RESPECT GOD’S CHOSEN?

“God has surely handed your enemy over to you this time!” Abishai whispered to David. “Let me pin him to the ground with one thrust of the spear; I won’t need to strike twice!”

“No!” David said. “Don’t kill him. For who can remain innocent after attacking The Lord’s anointed one?”
I Samuel 26:8-9 (NLT)

While they were at Hazeroth, Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses because he had married a Cushite woman.
Numbers 12:1 (NLT)

Then The Lord descended in the pillar of cloud and stood at the entrance of the Tabernacle. “Aaron and Miriam!” he called, and they stepped forward.
Numbers 12:5 (NLT)

When the cloud removed from over the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous, like snow. And Aaron turned toward Miriam, and behold, she was leprous.
Numbers 12:10 (ESV)

He said, “Don’t hurt My chosen people. Don’t harm My prophets.”
Psalm 105:15 (ERV)

BLOW THE TRUMPET IN ZION!

But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed.  It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown.  For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever.  And we who are living will also be transformed.
I Corinthians 15:51-52 (NLT)

HAVE YOU FALLEN FROM GRACE?

For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s Grace.
Galatians 5:4 (NLT)

Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the Grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.
Hebrews 12:15 (NLT)

For by Grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)

DO YOU WANT LIGHT OR DARKNESS?

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I Am The Light of the world. If you follow Me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have The Light that leads to life.”
John 8:12 (NLT)

They hated The Heavenly Light because they wanted to sin in the darkness. They stayed away from that Light for fear their sins would be exposed and they would be punished.
John 3:20 (TLB)

But you are not like that, for you have been chosen by God Himself, you are priests of The King, you are holy and pure, you are God’s very own, all this so that you may show to others how God called you out of the darkness into His Wonderful Light.
I Peter 2:9 (TLB)

Jesus replied, “My Light will shine out for you just a little while longer. Walk in it while you can, and go where you want to go before the darkness falls, for then it will be too late for you to find your way.”
John 12:35 (TLB)

ARE YOU AN ENEMY OF GOD?

You are like an unfaithful wife who loves her husband’s enemies. Don’t you realize that making friends with God’s enemies, (the evil pleasures of this world) makes you an enemy of God? I say it again, that if your aim is to enjoy the evil pleasure of the unsaved world, you cannot also be a friend of God.
James 4:4 (TLB)

Have I now become your enemy because I am telling you the truth?
Galatians 4:16 (NLT)

DO YOU REALLY LOVE GOD?

Everyone who really believes that Jesus is The Christ proves himself one of God’s family. The man who loves The Father cannot help loving The Father’s own Son.
I John 5:1 (PHILLIPS)

If anyone says “I love God,” but keeps on hating his brother, he is a liar; for if he doesn’t love his brother who is right there in front of him, how can he love God whom he has never seen?
I John 4:20 (TLB)

“If you love Me, you will do what I say.”
John 14:15 (NLV)

IF YOU LOVE GOD WHAT WILL YOU HATE?

If anyone respects and fears God, he will hate evil. For wisdom hates pride, arrogance, corruption, and deceit of every kind.
Proverbs 8:13 (TLB)

A man who is right with God hates lies, but the actions of a sinful man are hated and he is put to shame.
Proverbs 13:5 (NLV)

I hate lies; they make me sick! But I love your teachings.
Psalms 119:163 (ERV)

BLOW THE TRUMPET IN ZION!

Blow the trumpet in Zion: sound the alarm signal on My Holy Mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land shake with fear, for The Day Of The Lord is about to come. Indeed, it is near!
Joel 2:1 (NET)

DOES THE WORLD HATE YOU?

We are not to be like Cain, who belonged to satan and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because Cain had been doing wrong and he knew very well that his brother’s life was better than his. So don’t be surprised, dear friends, if the world hates you.
I John 3:12-13 (TLB)

“If the world hates you, remember that it hated Me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.”
John 15:18-19 (NLT)

Yes, and those who decide to please Christ Jesus by living godly lives will suffer at the hands of those who hate Him.
II Timothy 3:12 (TLB)

WHAT HAPPENED AT THE CROSS?

Because we broke God’s laws, we owed a debt, a debt that listed all the rules we failed to follow. But God forgave us of that debt. He took it away and nailed it to the cross.
Colossians 2:14 (ERV)

Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
Hebrews 9:22 (ESV)

He Himself bore our sins in His Body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By His Wounds you have been healed.
I Peter 2:24 (ESV)

For the message of the cross is foolishness (absurd and illogical) to those who are perishing and spiritually dead because they reject it, but to us who are being saved by God’s Grace it is the manifestation of The Power of God.
I Corinthians 1:18 (AMP)
